Kopkop College is such a unique organization to work in. Being in the Support Service Department, the Department name speaks for itself. To give support, when and where necessary.  I have gained so much knowledge and experience in the past 3 years here at Kopkop College.

Teamwork and good communication are paramount. They both work simultaneously. You can have a good team but if there isn’t good communication there will be a breakdown somewhere and vice versa. Always find a common ground and build on a mutual understanding to ensure that the teams’ bond is constant. 

Human Resources is about managing the employee life cycle; from Recruitment to Exits. The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include; recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, and employee counseling.  I have come to learn that challenges are good, they either make us or break us. Learning never stops! It is normal in our human nature to hold back whenever we have doubts about the unknown or not know how something will turn out. I believe positivity is key! I always keep this saying; ‘How will you know if you don’t try!’

Having to work under and alongside many individuals of such high caliber here at Kopkop College inspires me to be better every day. I look forward to contributing to the success of the College through the HR Department whilst upholding the College Motto: ‘Strive to do better, its’ Principals and Philosophy.
