Curriculum

The development of a Curriculum for Kopkop College has been made possible with the adoption of the National Curriculum Statement for Papua New Guinea as a guiding framework. In particular Kopkop College, as a permitted school and as a partner institution in the implementation of the Reform Curriculum, acknowledges the work done by the Curriculum Development Division of the Department of Education.

Early childcare learning

At our Daycare, daily activities establish the foundation for all future learning and give your children as early as 3 years old the opportunity to safely explore the world around them.

Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science, PNG Culture and Health lessons allow the children to think critically, act, question, reflect and imagine.

Primary School

Help students develop and foster basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in English, Science and Mathematics contents which are needed for effective communication, resource development, social development and spiritual development.

Secondary School

The curriculum at Kopkop School nurtures the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of every student.

Classroom lessons and field trips are planned carefully in order to optimize learning in all areas and to ensure that students acquire the skills of inquiry, observation and experimentation. Teachers balance individual and group activities.
