The Transport Manager has the grave responsibility of ensuring the Transport Fleet which carries all Kopkop College transport registered students is in top condition and driven by dedicated and professional drivers.

From two buses with just 40 students and three trips around the city in 1983, our KC family has grown into six fleets, six routes, and around more students on board! KC transport Manager, David who begin as a driver for Kopkop College in the 80’s, remembers the care and responsibility they put into running the fleets, a trend which he is proud to say continues on today.

Being safety conscience KC has since expanded into having its own workshop that takes great responsibility for maintaining, fitting, and repairing all its fleets, for which David, who is a qualified mechanic is responsible.

“Efficiency and Safety are the number one priority for Kopkop College and we are proud to say we have no reported incidences of transportation since then.

“The one thing that keeps me going is maintaining our fleets. I love working and I love my role. Every day something occurs and every day we make sure nothing goes wrong, because our aim is to make sure we have a safe and efficient service.”
